Currently I am a visiting professor at Global Information and Telecomminications Institute, Waseda University.
Prior to becoming a visiting professor, I was the Director for IT Security Center, Information Technology Promotion Agency, Japan (IPA) from 1997 to 1999. Previous to this, I lived in New York State and was the Director of the Industrial Electronics Div., Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) New York Center.
I began my career at the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI). In recent years, my greatest concern has been the impact of the Internet on the world's economy, society and our daily life.
