Mr. Simon Parnall Chairman, TV Anytime Forum
 Simon Parnall joined the BBC after graduating from Imperial College in London. Working in the BBC's Research and Development department, Simon was responsible for the BBC's system for the presentation of widescreen films and RDS, the Radio Data System. Simon has led a number of multidisciplinary international projects, and for a number of years was the chairman of DAVIC's Applications Technical Committee, which pioneered the concepts of TV Anytime. He is the founding chairman of the TV Anytime Forum and was the first chairman of the EBU's B/TPEG group. In 1999, Simon left the BBC and is now the Manager of the Advanced Technologies Group of NDS. |
