As Executive Chairman and CEO of BlackBerry Limited, John Chen is responsible for defining the company’s vision and goals, setting its strategy, and ensuring the team’s execution matches corporate objectives. Appointed in November 2013, John has led BlackBerry through a successful pivot from hardware icon to software leader. Today the company is poised to leverage its brand strength and heritage in mobile security along with its enterprise cybersecurity and embedded software growth engines to accelerate into the Enterprise of Things, an emerging category with billions of connected devices and massive market potential.

John came to BlackBerry a distinguished leader and proven turnaround executive with more than 40 years of engineering and management experience along with a reputation that extends well-beyond the technology industry. Prior to joining BlackBerry, John served as Chairman and CEO of Sybase Inc. where he re-invented the company and led it through 55 consecutive quarters of profitability, providing outstanding shareholder returns during his 15-year tenure.

A global business leader with a strong interest in policy, John has testified before Congress on U.S.–China trade relations and was appointed by U.S. President George W. Bush to serve on the President's Export Council. In 2006, he was appointed co-chair of the Secure Borders and Open Doors Advisory Committee. Additionally, John chaired the U.S.-China Policy Advisory Roundtable for the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), served on the Board of the National Committee on U.S. China Relations since 2012, and has been a member of the Committee of 100 since 1997 and its Chairman from 2009-2011.

John graduated magna cum laude from Brown University with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and a master's in electrical engineering from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). John has an honorary professorship from Shanghai University, and honorary doctorates from San Jose State University, City University of Hong Kong, and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. John has received awards from the U.S.-Asia Institute, the U.S.-China Policy Foundation, the California-Asia Business Council, and the U.S.-Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation.
John served on the Board of Directors for The Walt Disney Company (2004-2019) and Wells Fargo & Co. (2006-2018). He is also active in the not-for-profit community, and is a trustee of Caltech, board member of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations, member of CFR, national trustee of The First Tee and Governor of the San Francisco Symphony.

Prior to founding Zoom, Eric was corporate vice president of engineering at Cisco, where he was responsible for Cisco's collaboration software development. From 2006 to 2013, Saga joined Cisco Systems Japan, where he was dedicated to developing partners of the Webex business, which Cisco Systems acquired. From 1992, Saga joined Japan IBM as a Development Engineer of ThinkPad at Yamato Laboratory. He then moved to the PC division where he was in charge of product marketing and partner sales for Japan and the Asia Pacific division.
Saga earned a Master's Degree in Engineering from Hokkaido University.

Naoaki Mashita was born in Tokyo, 1977. Whilst pursuing studies at Keio University in 1998, Naoaki established V-cube Internet (now V-cube, Inc.). Thereafter, Naoaki changed V-cube's primary business to visual communications and achieved the No.1 Market Share in Japan's Web Conference market in 2008. V-cube has maintained this position for 13 years.

With a mission of realizing an ‘Even’ society, V-cube aims to create the society where opportunities are evenly provided to all, and tackles issues such as extreme concentration of population and industry in city areas, declining birthrate and aging population, long working hours, and educational and healthcare gaps with its Visual Communication Solutions.

In December 2013, V-cube was listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Mothers board. Subsequently in July 2015, V-cube stepped up to the main board of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Naoaki established Senshin Robotics (former V-cube Robotics) in 2015 and working on developing solutions using robotics such as drones. Waichi Sekiguchi is a visiting senior staff writer for Nikkei, the largest economic daily in the world. He joined Nikkei in 1982 upon graduating from Hitotsubashi university. He has been covering the IT industry and cyberspace issues for over 30 years and writing editorial articles for Nikkei for 15 years. As a Washington correspondent during the Bush and Clinton Administrations in the early 1990s, Sekiguchi covered US trade and government policies. Prior to that, in the late 1980s, he was a Fulbright fellow at the Center for International Affairs at Harvard University and was a chief writer for the English edition of Nikkei. Sekiguchi served as a news commentator for NHK World TV program "Nikkei Japan Report" in 2009–2012 and as a visiting professor at the University of Tokyo in 2015–2019. He became the president of MM research Institute, a Japanese research and consulting firm catering to the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry, in 2019. He is currently a visiting professor at Hosei University Business School, as well as at the Center for Global Communications (GLOCOM) of the International University of Japan.

Ayyar also serves as general manager, Edge/IoT for Dell Technologies. Dave West is President and General Manager for Cisco Japan. In this role, he manages all operations for the Japanese market. Dave works closely with customers to understand the market transitions influencing their businesses. A 19-year Cisco veteran with over 25 years of experience in the ICT industry, Dave most recently led Worldwide Sales for the Enterprise Networks (EN) team, a global organization that drives the sales, solutions, and engineering motions required to deliver innovation and transformation across Cisco’s core portfolio.

He was responsible for capturing market transitions, delivering sustained competitive leadership, and driving growth across all technologies.

Born in Hyogo prefecture in 1965. Graduated from Osaka Prefecture University with BSc in Mathematical Science and joined IBM Japan the same year.
In August 1996, he founded SOURCENEXT Corporation, which was listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2008. The company sold over 50 million cumulative software, including “Virus Security ZERO,” the first security software to ever do away with annual renewal fees.
In 2017, SOURCENEXT ventured into the development of its first IoT product, “POCKETALK,” the AI-powered translator device, which won “2018 Nikkei Superior Products and Services Awards Grand Prize - Nikkei Awards for Excellence.” POCKETALK has been shipped over 700 thousand units to date.
In the future, the company aims to expand the POCKETALK business to the world and bring forth more IoT products to the market. They also place telecommuting related products as their new line of business since March 2020.

Risto Siilasmaa is the Chair of the Nokia Board of Directors. He joined the Nokia Board in 2008 and became Chair in May 2012. Under his tenure Nokia has successfully transformed from a mobile phone manufacturer to a leading communication technology company. Siilasmaa is the Founder of F-Secure Corporation, a Finnish cybersecurity company and served as the President and CEO of the company between 1988-2006, Chair of the Board since 2006.

Siilasmaa is a Board member of Futurice Corporation. He is also a member of Komatsu International Advisory Board, a member of the International Advisory Board at IESE Business School, University of Navarra and a member of the Global Advisory Board of Yonsei University School of Business (YSB). He was a member of the European Roundtable of Industrialists (ERT) 2012-2020.

Edzard Overbeek is CEO of HERE Technologies, a leading global provider of digital maps and location services for the Internet of Things and automotive industries.

Edzard Overbeek joined HERE in spring 2016, setting out his vision for an autonomous world where location technology is at the heart of how we live, move and interact with one another. Since his arrival, HERE has opened up its platform to allow developers and organizations everywhere to create powerful location services using its technology. The company has also formed multiple new partnerships with leading technology companies such as Intel, NVIDIA, Baidu and Tencent.

Edzard Overbeek brings to HERE a unique mix of sales and technology experience, having joined from Cisco where he was responsible for the company’s Global Services organization with over $12 billion in revenues and 15,000 employees.

Before that he served as President of Cisco's Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China region, overseeing strategy and execution across all customer segments and strategic partner engagement. Prior to Cisco, he held leadership positions in companies including Fujitsu and Siemens.

Overbeek holds a master's degree in business administration from NIMBAS, University of Bradford, United Kingdom.

Dirk-Peter van Leeuwen is senior vice president and general manager for Red Hat in Asia Pacific and Japan. Van Leeuwen is responsible for expanding Red Hat's business throughout the region.

Joining Red Hat in 2004, van Leeuwen helped establish operations in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg (Benelux). Soon after, his responsibilities expanded to include Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Central Europe, and later Eastern Europe.

Under van Leeuwen’s leadership since 2009, Red Hat APAC’s revenue has increased more than five-fold in 10 years. Van Leeuwen has a deep understanding of the enterprise software market and channels in both Asia Pacific and Europe.

With over 25 years of IT industry experience, van Leeuwen has a proven record in helping numerous companies in Europe and Asia succeed with the use of innovation and technology.

Prior to Red Hat, van Leeuwen was a European director for PlanetWeb Inc. and director of Northern Europe for SCO, where he built its sales operations in Benelux and the Nordic region.

Red Hat Singapore in 2017 won “Best Tech Company to Work For”, an award given by the Singapore Computer Society.

Keri Gilder is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Colt.

Appointed to the role in May 2020, Keri is responsible for executing Colt’s strategy which centres around transforming the way the world works through the power of connectivity.

Before becoming CEO, Keri was Colt’s Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), leading global teams across sales, presales and marketing, as well as working closely with the wider organisation to ensure Colt delivered for its customers.

Before joining Colt, Keri held several leadership roles at Ciena but was most recently its Vice President and General Manager EMEA, responsible for guiding Ciena’s EMEA service provider and enterprise customers, as well as partners.

Keri is passionate about promoting Inclusion and Diversity, also leading Colt’s Diversity Council, to ensure Colt is a business where everyone feels they can bring their true selves to work. Keri brings this passion to the wider industry, also supporting external mentoring and coaching initiatives.

Prior to Ciena, Keri worked in multiple roles for Lucent Technologies, and she has also worked for Hughes Aircraft as a Network Engineer.

Keri has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Management Information Systems (MIS) from New Mexico State University.

Keri lives in London with her husband and two children and is based at Colt’s head office in London.
