Against the backdrop of the development of sensor technologies, the IoT (Internet of Things), which is a broad concept including M2M, wearable devices, smart meters and such, has been drawing increasing attention. Each country considers the promotion of IoT as an important political measure and has started to take specific initiatives such as implementation of public-private partnership projects.
