Now the Internet and ICT are being increasingly applied in industry such as manufacturing in full swing. These trends are leading to “Digital Transformation” and new innovations in existing business models. Revolutionary changes are predicted in various industrial sectors by 2020.
The present "Global ICT Summit 2016", the ninth in a series, is intended to discuss about these trends along with the main subject "Digital Transformation - Changing Business and Changing Manufacturing". Executives of leading companies and government policy makers will be invited from both inside and outside Japan to the meeting as speakers and discussants.
