 " ICT Policies for the Intelligent ICT Era "

Against the backdrop of performance improvements in computers, information and communications networks, the digitalization of information on a variety of things is progressing as a result of the development of the Internet of Things (IoT). At the same time, the development of deep-learning technology and other state-of-the-art technologies are rapidly advancing Artificial Intelligence (AI), thus making it possible to sophisticate applications of big data. Some practical applications of big data, such as driving safety support systems linking to automatic driving technology, product delivery using unmanned aircraft (drones), and real-time automatic voice translation, have already been put into practice in real services. Under the circumstances, it is considered that the technological progress of such "Intelligent ICT" and associated social changes will make progress rapidly.
In this session, distinguished guest speakers will share information on the current status of IoT/AI promotion projects and will also discuss initiatives for the healthy development of the "Intelligent ICT".
