15:30-17:10 Session 4	"Towards Securing Reliable Digital Infrastructure" It is critical to secure reliable digital infrastructure in order to realize a trustworthy internet society. One of the various measures being now taken to secure such infrastructure by different countries around the world, including Japan, the U.S., and some countries in Europe and Asia, is the introduction of Open RAN. In addition, the formulation of standards, including Open RAN, to allow different players to participate is vitally important, not only from the perspective of ensuring the reliability of digital infrastructure, but also from the perspective of driving innovation. In this session, decision-makers of the governments of the U.S, the UK, and Australia, as well as representatives of world-leading telecommunications operators and suppliers, will give presentations and hold panel discussions on their efforts, challenges, and expectations regarding Open RAN.
